School on Gravitational Lens Modelling

Third school organized by ANGLES will be at Valencia, Spain, between 27 and 30 March 2007.

The main themes of the lectures are:

• General introduction to gravitational lensing
• Gravitational lens modelling
• Non-parametric lens modelling
• Galaxy groups and their influence in lens models
• Quasar microlensing: observation and theory
• Quasar microlensing: simulations with inverse ray-shooting and inverse polygon mapping

In addition to the lectures there will be hands-on sessions in a computer room where the students will learn how to run lensing codes.

Due to space constraints the school is limited to 40 students, therefore we recommend that you register as soon as possible.
